Archorale is a dynamic design studio in Gurugram, committed to providing uniqueness to all architectural and interior designs. The studio anchors itself on a strong design component backed by the innovative implementation. As a part of the studio, it is our aim to design spaces, keeping in mind the people using the spaces and the context within which it is situated, narrating a story of its time.
We undertake projects that challenge us and push our own boundaries. We have worked on residential, commercial, institutional projects for architecture as well as interior consultancy. We have also delved into furniture designs and architectural heritage conservation.
DHEERAJ KUMAR
The Studio is headed by architect and interior designer Dheeraj Kumar. After completing his Bachelor of Architecture from Vastu Kala Academy, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi in 2010. He has worked with many established names in the industry.
He has vast experience in handling projects which vary from small-scale architecture and interior (retail, residential, and office) to large-scale architectural projects (commercial, hotels, healthcare, industrial, housing, etc.).
He firmly believes in delivering the project after a rigorous design development exercise, because the design needs to be nurtured before it metamorphoses into the experiential reality of the clients. His experience in handling the execution ensures that the ideas take their true forms in the end.
Dheeraj is a voracious reader and writes poetry as a hobby. He loves painting, sketching, and traveling which introduced him to the field of architecture in the first place.
Suruchi Shah
Suruchi Shah is the co-founder of the studio. She is an architect with a specialization in Architectural Conservation. After her B.Arch from Vastu Kala Academy, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi in 2010, she completed her M.Arch. (Architectural Conservation) from School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi. She believes that the design has to be rooted in context to be able to explore a new vocabulary that communicates with the people. She has been involved in various built heritage conservation projects and research projects, apart from architectural and interior design consultancy projects. She has also worked on furniture and graphic designs.
Suruchi loves to doodle and write in her pastime. She is fond of watching movies and traveling.
The studio model encourages collective explorations and collaborations. The team members bring with them experience from diverse project types and scales, both in design and execution. The process involves looking at multiple aspects of the project from various vantage points- from macro to micro level. The team is driven by an aspiration to experiment and innovate, with the sole purpose of creating aesthetic, yet meaningful spaces.
